Austin is a commercial litigator with experience in a variety of complex investigations and litigation matters. Before joining Massey & Gail, Austin served as a law clerk for the Honorable Bridget S. Bade on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and for the Honorable Raymond A. Jackson on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Prior to clerking, Austin was an associate at Covington & Burling LLP in Washington, DC, where he focused on antitrust and consumer protection matters.

Austin graduated from The George Washington University Law School, where he was the Senior Online Editor of The George Washington Law Review. During law school, Austin interned for the Honorable Zia M. Faruqui on the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
