Schuyler is a commercial litigator. He has experience aiding clients in a variety of industries with contract disputes at all stages of litigation, including numerous appeals.

Before joining Massey & Gail, Schuyler was an associate at Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders, LLP. Schuyler graduated from The University of Illinois College of Law, where he was an associate editor of the University of Illinois Law Review. After law school, Schuyler clerked on the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

  • Counseling client’s regarding potential trade secret/patent/copyright infringement claims against Microsoft.
  • Defending Fund against ERISA class action suit filed by members of a local union.
  • Counseling on wrongful death and premises liability matters in Georgia.
  • Defending Walmart in federal appeal against retailers claiming lost sales during Covid shutdown.
  • Helped defend motion to dismiss which resulted in plaintiff dismissing action.
  • Represented potential claims of former employee alleging sexual assault by current employee.
  • Managed document review in response to subpoena requests.
  • Counseling water rights holders regarding the Bureau of Reclamation’s decision-making with respect to Colorado River water rights.
