Jeremy has over a decade of experience representing and advising clients in regard to both trial and appellate litigation. Jeremy draws on his diverse, unique background to bring creative solutions and strategies to bear, whether in a complex commercial dispute, massive regulatory challenge, or a more individual matter.
Jeremy has taught Constitutional Law at The University of Chicago Law School and has published articles on legislative chaplaincies and political speech. His scholarship has been cited by academics, appellate briefs, Witkin’s Summary of California Law, the Seventh Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Prior to joining Massey & Gail, Jeremy was an associate at Sidley Austin and Kirkland & Ellis, focusing on securities litigation, bank regulation, environmental litigation, patents, and appellate matters. Jeremy earned a Ph.D. in ethics from The University of Chicago Divinity School and a J.D. from The University of Chicago Law School, with Honors and Order of the Coif. In law school, Jeremy was Editor-in-Chief of The University of Chicago Law Review.
